SHIPPING POLICY
Effective September 18, 2026This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed with Tumaini Enterprises LLC d/b/a AfroKouture through www.afrokouture.com.
PROCESSING TIME
Orders are generally processed within 2 to 5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
Once an order has shipped, a shipment confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout when tracking is available.
SHIPPING RATES AND DELIVERY ESTIMATES
Available shipping services, shipping charges, and estimated carrier transit times are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the destination, products ordered, and available carrier service.
Delivery estimates shown at checkout begin after the order has been processed and transferred to the carrier.
Carrier delivery estimates are not guarantees. Customs processing, weather, holidays, carrier disruptions, and other circumstances outside AfroKouture's control may affect delivery.
UNITED STATES SHIPPING
Domestic shipping options are displayed at checkout based on the delivery address and available carrier services.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
AfroKouture ships internationally to destinations that are enabled and available for selection at checkout. Available destinations and services may vary.
If a destination is not available at checkout, AfroKouture cannot currently ship an online order to that destination.
LOCAL PICKUP
Local pickup is available when shown as an option at checkout.
The pickup location and instructions provided during checkout or in the order notification apply. Please do not travel to the pickup location until you receive confirmation that your order is ready.
ORDER TRACKING
When tracking is available, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout after shipment. Carrier tracking information may take time to update after a shipping label is created.
CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND IMPORT TAXES
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Some shipping services may offer prepaid duties or collect applicable import charges during checkout. When duties or import charges are collected at checkout, the amount shown at checkout applies.
If duties, taxes, or other import charges are not collected at checkout, the recipient is responsible for charges assessed by customs authorities or the carrier upon import or delivery.
DELIVERY PROBLEMS
If an order does not arrive within the carrier's estimated delivery period, contact info@afrokouture.com with your order number. We will review the available tracking and shipment information and assist with the appropriate next step.
